Hi, I'm Donna.
OriginPoint Loan Officer here to guide you through financing your home purchase. My goal is to advise you and simplify obtaining a mortgage so you can focus on the move. The better you know your options and how they fit into your financial goals the better you will feel about the entire process. I'm a North Carolinian with over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. My background offers both my clients and their agents a loan officer that understands all the moving parts to purchasing a home.
After several years of lending for a big bank and having the process be compartmentalized to an extreme, it's hard to describe how fantastic it is to be a part of OriginPoint. Our clients' loans are the only priority and we efficiently and effectively work together to provide you financing in time for closing day. Prior to mortgage lending, my introduction to this industry began as a real estate agent. I represented buyers, sellers and property managers. After a decade of general brokerage, the opportunity to represent builders in new construction allowed me to be an integral part of taking a location from dirt to community. Driving by and through these neighborhoods reminds me of my accomplishments as well as how important my role as a lender is to homeownership. In working closely with lenders for years and ultimately taking that plunge to purchase a home myself, my need to understand all things took over and so did my desire to be in the role of lender.
Outside of the office my time away is spent exploring cities in different areas of the world. No one is all work, but I must say it is rather interesting how much traveling has added to my expertise. My love of international traveling and getting lost on purpose has honed my map reading skills at the very least. It can seem rather complex but once you know your starting point you can get to where you need to be.
Thank you to all my clients, past and future, in allowing me to share my knowledge and helping you navigate your way home.
